What is the difference between Lash Filler and LVL?

The LVL is a treatment that just lifts the client's lashes. InLei’s Lash Filler treatment not only lifts the client's lashes but also nourishes the lashes from the inside out. It also helps increase the lashes' natural thickness by up to 24% after just three treatments, which has been clinically proven by the University of Milan.

Can I use the Korean lash lift method with the InLei Lash Filler system?

Yes. The Korean lash lift method can be used alongside the InLei Lash Filler system when performed correctly and professionally. These techniques complement each other and can be adapted depending on lash type, desired results and treatment goals.

Is Lash Filler a lash lift/lamination?

Yes, InLei Lash Filler is a lash lift/lamination treatment, but with the added benefit of nourishing and strengthening the natural lashes. Unlike standard lash lifts, Lash Filler is designed not only to change the curl of the lashes but also to improve their condition, resulting in thicker, healthier and shinier lashes.

It is a clinically tested treatment, proven to thicken natural lashes by up to 24%, making it a safer and more advanced alternative to traditional lash lift systems.

Is InLei Lash Filler vegan?

All Lash Filler products are cruelty-free, with the majority of products also being vegan. InLei Filler 3, which contains keratin, and InLei Gentle Wax are not vegan.

How long can I keep the InLei Lash Filler products open for?

Check each product’s packaging for its expiry date and period-after-opening symbol. The small open jar icon contains a number indicating how many months the product can be used after opening.

• Bottles: Form 1, Fix 2 and Filler 3 — 2 months after opening.
• Sachets: Form 1, Fix 2 and Filler 3 — recommended for one treatment.

How should I patch test for Lash Filler and Tint?

It is always recommended to patch test all products used during a treatment, as they may come into contact with the skin. Apply a small amount of each product to clean skin on the forearm using a clean microfibre brush, leave for 15 minutes, then remove and cover each area with a hypoallergenic plaster. Label each patch so the client can identify which product caused a reaction, if any.

Clients should monitor the area for 24–48 hours and report any reaction. If a reaction occurs, they must be referred to their GP and the treatment should not go ahead.

Tint must be mixed with cream developer for patch testing, as this is one of the most common allergens due to PPD. Always check ingredients during consultation and avoid any known allergens. While patch testing does not guarantee that a reaction won’t occur, it is the safest practice and is strongly recommended for all products, even if not stated in the product leaflet.

My client's lashes didn't lift. Why?

There are several reasons why the lashes may not have lifted after the treatment:

• Incorrect silicone shield size: was the curl too soft or the shield too big for the client's lashes, resulting in a weak curling effect?
• The lashes were incorrectly aligned on the silicone shield.
• Too much fixing gel was used, preventing other products from working.
• Incorrect product placement for Form 1 and Fix 2.
• Incorrect processing time.
• Working with expired products.
• Working with products that were incorrectly stored.

My client doesn’t like the result. Can I repeat the treatment on the same day?

If the effect of the treatment is not as your client expected, the best solution would be to offer them a complimentary treatment in a few weeks' time. If the final result requires an immediate fix, you can repeat the treatment in the next couple of days using minimum timing.

However, always take your client's natural lashes into consideration when making a decision, as you do not want to cause any further damage.

How should I clean the lashes after an InLei Lash Filler treatment?

Every solution during the Lash Filler treatment should be removed using dry cotton buds. We strongly advise you not to use any water. At the very end of the treatment, we recommend using Filler 3 to help dissolve the Fixing Gel, then using the Fillering tool to remove fixing gel residue and tint leftovers from the natural lashes. Filler 3 can be left on the lashes and does not need to be removed after the treatment is finished.

As part of the updated InLei Lash Filler 25.9 protocol, you can finish the treatment by cleansing the lashes and eyelid area with InLei Mousse Magica. This professional foam shampoo helps remove any remaining tint and glue residue, releases the shields and leaves the lashes clean without affecting the curl or hair structure. It is gentle, suitable for sensitive skin and helps reduce the risk of allergic reactions.

Does InLei Tint contain PPD?

Every hair dye contains PPD; however, InLei Tint contains a very small percentage of it compared to other brands.

Does InLei Tint contain ammonia?

InLei Tint is based on plant waxes and does not contain ammonia.

The InLei Tint didn’t stain the skin, or the stain washed off after a few days. Why?

The stain of the tint on the skin depends on several factors:

• The colour used during the treatment: darker colours tend to leave a slightly stronger stain.
• Skin type: colour fades more quickly on oily skin.
• Mechanical movements, including scrubs, peels, touching the eyebrows and makeup application.

On normal skin, results can last around 7–10 days; on dry skin, up to 7 days; and on oily or combination skin, up to 3–5 days.

Can I use Lash Filler for an eyebrow treatment?

Yes, you can offer a Brow Filler treatment using InLei Lash Lift products. However, please note that the Lash Filler range was designed for eyelashes, and InLei has created the Brow Bomber range specifically for eyebrows.

Brow Filler influences the brow hair structure, resulting in hair up to 24% thicker after three treatments. It is important to remember that not every client would like thicker eyebrow hairs.

Is InLei Brow Bomber a brow lamination/brow perm treatment?

Yes, Brow Bomber is a name used to describe a brow lamination/brow perm treatment performed using InLei Brow Bomber products.

What is the shelf life of the InLei Brow Bomber bottles?

Check each product’s packaging for its expiry date and period-after-opening symbol. The small open jar icon contains a number indicating how many months the product can be used after opening.

• Brow Lift 1: 3 months after opening.
• Brow Lock 2: 3 months after opening.
• Brow Bomber 3: 9 months after opening.
• Mister Fix: its airless bottle prevents contact with oxygen, helping preserve the product for up to 12 months.

Can I use henna instead of tint for InLei Brow Bomber?

Henna dye cannot be used during a Brow Bomber brow lamination treatment. Both henna and lamination slightly dry out the eyebrow hair and, when combined, can cause damage to the eyebrows.

You should wait at least 20 days after brow lamination before offering a henna brow treatment. For brow lamination, tint is recommended.

What are the steps to use Brow Bomber?

Brow Bomber products are for eyebrow treatments performed by trained professionals only.

1. Prepare the eyebrows.
2. Apply InLei® Brow Lift 1.
3. Shape the eyebrows.
4. Apply InLei® Brow Lock 2.
5. Apply InLei® Lash and Brow Tint.
6. Remove unwanted hair.
7. Apply InLei® Brow Bomber 3 to nourish the eyebrows.

Can I use InLei Brow Bomber 3 on its own?

InLei Brow Bomber 3 is designed to be used as the last part of the Brow Bomber treatment, complementing the previously used products, which can be drying on eyebrow hairs.

Used on its own, it does not give a brow lamination effect and acts only as a moisturising, nourishing butter. It can be used as the last step of a tinting procedure to nourish the eyebrows.

Brow Bomber 3 is for professional use only.

Can I use InLei Filler 3 instead of InLei Brow Bomber 3 for eyebrows if my client is allergic to InLei Brow Bomber 3?

The Lash Filler and Brow Bomber ranges have each been designed to work within their own system. We do not recommend substituting products from another range, as we cannot guarantee the results.

Can I use InLei Brow Bomber on eyelashes?

No. The Brow Bomber range has been designed specifically for brow lamination and should not be used on eyelashes, as it may cause damage.

Should I use cling film with InLei Brow Bomber instead of Fixing Gel?

We recommend using Fixing Gel to align the eyebrows during a Brow Bomber treatment. This helps you control the direction of the hairs and create the desired effect.

We do not advise using cling film for a Brow Bomber treatment. Brow Bomber is a cold perm and should not be exposed to a higher temperature during processing. Covering the brows with cling film increases the temperature and speeds up processing, which may damage eyebrow hairs.

Can I use a different brand of tint with InLei Brow Bomber?

All products in the Brow Bomber range have been designed to work together. If you use another tint brand, you may not achieve the same effects as when using all products from the collection.
