The Science Behind Brow Bomber: A Step Above the Rest

Brow Bomber, often referred to as brow lamination, has taken the beauty industry by storm. This innovative procedure promises fuller, more defined, and well-groomed eyebrows that last for weeks. But what exactly is brow lamination, and how does it work? Let's delve into the science behind this popular treatment.

    What is Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination is a non-invasive treatment that restructures the brow hairs to keep them in a desired place and shape. It's like a perm for your eyebrows, giving them a fuller and more defined appearance. The process involves using a brow lamination kit, which typically contains solutions to break down hair bonds, set them in a new position, and nourish the brows.

    The Science Behind It All

The primary science behind eyebrow lamination is similar to that of hair perming. Hair, whether on our scalp, lashes or eyebrows, is made up of keratin proteins. These proteins are held together by disulfide bonds. When these bonds are broken, the hair becomes malleable and can be reshaped.

Breaking Down the Bonds: The first step in brow lamination is the application of the Brow Lift 1 lifting solution. This solution contains chemicals, including ingredients like ammonium thioglycolate, which work to break down the natural disulfide bonds in the hair strands. These bonds are responsible for the natural structure and curl of hair. By breaking them down, the hairs become malleable, allowing them to be reshaped.

Setting the Shape: Once the hairs are malleable, they are brushed and set in the desired direction using InLei® Mister Fix. This could be upwards for a feathery, modelesque look or sideways for a more natural, groomed appearance - it all comes down to what your client wants!

Reforming the Bonds: After the hairs have been set in the desired position, Brow Lock 2, the neutralizing solution, is applied. This solution helps reform the disulfide bonds, locking the hairs in their new position. It's this step that ensures the brows maintain their new shape for several weeks.

Nourishing the Brows: The final step is Brow Bomber 3, which is a nourishing brow serum to hydrate and condition the brows. This step is crucial to ensure that they remain healthy and glossy post-treatment, as a brow lamination can be quite drying. Skipping this step could leave the brows dry and brittle, which can be damaging in the long run… and no one wants that!

Why is Brow Bomber So Good?

While there are various brow lamination kits available in the market, Brow Bomber stands out, particularly because of its emphasis on the science behind the treatment. InLei® is an Italian brand known for its clinical tests performed at the University Institute of Italy, ensuring thorough and stunning results. Their Brow Bomber system not only offers beautiful results but also nourishes and lifts the brows from the root, helping you to create long-lasting laminated brows without causing any damage, should the steps be followed exactly.
