Tips & Tricks To Make Sure You NEVER Run Out Of Eyelash Extension Supplies!

Being a busy entrepreneur, it can be very easy to lose track of what you're doing and forget to place your lash order in time and, let’s be honest, relying on next day delivery can be risky! So what measures can you put in place to make sure you never experience the sweat-inducing panic that comes with realising you’re all out of something you need for the client laying in front of you?

What Lash Products CAN You Stock Up On?

Look at things with either no expiry date, or a super long expiry - eyelash extensions is the obvious one here as they’ll sit and look pretty until you’re ready for them, but also look at things like under eye patches and lash tape. While under eye patches do have a use-by date, it’s typically a really long date so you’re safe to stock up on those.

You can also stock up on liquids like pre-treatment products or lash remover with a longer date, though be careful with this as having too many will mean that it’s very easy to lose track of what was bought when, and what needs to be used next. Just to be on the safe side, only have what you need for a MAXIMUM of 3 months, and when you open something, put a piece of lash tape on it with the date that you opened it on.

What Lash Supplies CAN’T You Stock Up On?

Eyelash extension glue. That’s pretty much it! Eyelash glue should ALWAYS be bought fresh. Just as a reminder, lash glue has a 6 month shelf life from the Date of Production (DOP) - this is printed on the bottom of the bottle and on the aluminium pouch that your eyelash adhesive comes in. Once you’ve opened your lash glue, it's best to replace it in 4-8 weeks for the best results.

If you have trouble remembering to place your lash supplies order in time or you just want to not have to think about it, you can sign up to our Glue Subscription Service so that your eyelash glue always arrives in perfect time exactly when you need it!

Our top tips for your lash orders - whether you stock up ahead of time or order as and when you need to - are:

    1. Set aside time in your schedule specifically for you to focus on placing your orders. That way you won't get distracted by a client and forget to check out or miss something!

    2. Don't try to place your orders in between clients - you'll inevitably forget something and either run out, or have to place a second order which will cost you an additional shipping fee.

    3. Keep a list of items you order frequently and tick things off as you add them to your cart.

    4. If you haven't already, we highly recommend grabbing a spare set of lash tweezers, just in case!

The key to never running out of your eyelash extension supplies is all about inventory management and smart planning. Stay ahead by maintaining a detailed inventory and setting up regular stock assessments. Running out of your lash supplies not only disrupts your services but can also shake your client's trust in your professionalism. By staying organised you can ensure that your lash services are never hindered by an empty shelf again!
