Lash Salon Hygiene: Taking Care of Your Lash Tape

Are You Making This Common Lash Tape Mistake?

How often do you consider what could be living on the surface of your Lash Tape? Probably not often enough. There are a few products in your lash extension kit that could be harbouring bacteria and your tape is one of the main culprits. But fear not, it's best to recognise this before it becomes an issue.

Unhygienic storage of lash tape that has direct contact with your client's sensitive eye area may cause an eye infection or other nasty complications, so let's nip it in the bud once and for all!

It is crucial to make sure that all tools and accessories that have direct contact with your client's skin are always protected against cross-contamination. That includes cleaning your lash trolley or work station regularly so that any tools from your lash kit which come into contact with a surface are always clean and hygienic.

We are sure that you know how to correctly disinfect your Tweezers, wear Gloves and have a new package of Eye Patches for each client - but what about the Tape?

Our Tape Holder and Cutter is a tool in your kit which keeps your tape sanitary and dust-proof at all times, as well as helping you save wasting the product and your time - gone are the days of getting frustrated trying to find the end of your tape when trying to cut a strip.

Improper hygiene can be truly detrimental to your lash business, so make sure you're being thorough - it's one of your duties as a Lash Tech, so don't neglect it! After all, happy clients are always going to be returning clients.
