Do your clients ever experience redness at the end of their brow lamination treatment? This is essential!
InLei® Lady Shield was developed to protect the skin of those with even the most sensitive skin during the Brow Bomber treatment - while Brow Bomber was developed to work effectively without causing any skin irritation, some redness and even tenderness can still occur in those with a high sensitivity. Thus, Lady Shield was born!
Lady Shield was developed using the same in-depth and thorough methods as all other InLei® products, and went through rigorous testing and development before the final version of Lady Shield was added to the InLei® collection.
Lady Shield contains three main active ingredients:
FOMBLIN® – a scientifically advanced raw material. It is a polymer capable of creating a clear, odourless and non-greasy film which acts as a barrier whilst remaining breathable, and does not clog pores. Its particular film-forming and water-repellent structure prevents dehydration, irritation and redness of the skin.
ZANTHALENE® – a natural ingredient obtained from the dried fruits of Zanthoxylum Bungeanum, more commonly known as the Sichuan Pepper plant. It has been used for thousands of years in traditional Chinese Medicine for its anti-inflammatory, soothing and anti-itching properties. These peppercorn-like fruits leave a tingling/numbing sensation, mildly anaesthetising the skin in a completely natural way by acting on neuromuscular communication within the skin structure. The amount used in Lady Shield alleviates irritation and reduces skin sensitivity.
PHYTOSPHINGOSINE – already naturally present in our stratum corneum and responsible for improving the structure of the skin's protective hydrolipid film, this component aids the reconstruction of keratinocytes, and works as an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent. Phytosphingosine acts as a building block to restore the skin’s natural barrier, making it particularly effective in the treatment of damaged/sensitised skin and in preventing the penetration of aggressive ingredients into the epidermis.
Please Note: though clinical trials were carried out on human volunteers and showed that Lady Shield was not irritating to any of the volunteers, a patch test is still recommended for the safety and comfort of your clients.
